Nicole Bourgeois
Head Trainer & Co-Owner
As a young rider, Nicole displayed exceptional talent, dedication, and ability in the hunters, jumpers, and equitation. Her early success as a junior rider laid the foundation for an impressive collegiate career at the University of South Carolina, where she was a member of the NCAA Division I Equestrian Team, helping her team win a National Championship in 2006. She graduated with a degree in Retail Management and, alongside her sister, Kendall, co-founded her business, Imagination Lane.
Nicole's passion for riding and coaching remains evident in her ongoing success as a professional rider. In 2023, she claimed the $25,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby title at Thunderbird Show Park and finished second in the $100,000 WCHR Hunter Spectacular at Desert International Horse Park. Her versatility is showcased by her successful transition into the jumper ring, where she won the 2023 PCHA 1.30 Open Jumper Championship at the Sacramento International Horse Show and the $10,000 TBIRD Winning Round aboard West Side River. Nicole continued her winning streak into the current season, capturing the $20,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby at The Colorado Horse Park and most recently taking third in the $65,000 International Hunter Derby Regional Championships at Desert International Horse Park.
Beyond her personal achievements, Nicole is a dedicated coach whose students have also reached numerous milestones under her guidance, including wins at the USEF Junior Hunter Finals - West.
In her free time, Nicole enjoys traveling with her two labs, Callie and Minnie, and spending time with her family.

Kendall Bourgeois
Head Trainer & Co-Owner
Kendall has been a top competitor for many years, developing a deep understanding of horses and a remarkable competitive spirit early on. As a junior rider, she competed in the hunter, jumper, and equitation divisions, quickly advancing to international competition at an impressively young age. Kendall mainly competes in the jumper ring as a professional, where her talent and determination have earned her a reputation as one of the top riders on the West Coast.
Kendall has won the Oregon High Desert Classic Grand Prix title for three consecutive years and most recently triumphed in the $10,000 Grand Prix at Thunderbird Showpark. Her impressive career in the FEI divisions includes strong placings in CSI5* classes and multiple top-five finishes in CSI3* Grand Prix events. Kendall's show record highlights her exceptional talent, accuracy, and consistency at the highest levels of competition.
While Kendall's primary focus is the jumper ring, her versatility as a rider shines in her successful appearances in the hunter ring. She competed at the USHJA International Derby Finals in 2019 and most recently took home the top prize in the $25,000 USHJA International Derby at the Summer Fort Classic.
Kendall's passion for the sport extends beyond the show ring. She often travels up and down the West Coast and internationally, sourcing horses and expanding her knowledge of horse care, riding, and training. As a competitor and a horsewoman, this dedication to growth is a testament to her commitment to the sport.
Outside the barn, Kendall enjoys spending time with her family, especially her three kids.

Grace Pearson
Assistant Trainer
Grace was a highly accomplished junior rider whose career included success in the hunter/jumper and equitation arenas. She earned many notable victories, including the prestigious ASPCA Maclay Area 7 Regional Finals in 2018 and the CPHA Style of Riding Finals in 2019. She went on to compete in the ASPCA Maclay Finals and the USEF Dover Saddlery Medal Finals, consistently demonstrating her skills and exceptional poise under pressure.
Grace continued to grow at Auburn University, where she was a key member of the university's top-ranked NCAA Division I Equestrian Team. During her time at Auburn, she was honored with the 2023 Coaches Award for her leadership and exceptional contributions to the team. Grace played a pivotal role in helping the team secure multiple titles, including the 2024 SEC Division Championship. Grace's passion for the sport and her unwavering commitment to excellence have made her a standout not only on the national stage and at the collegiate level but also as a professional in our program.
Outside the barn, Grace enjoys going on adventures with her dog, Moose, going to the gym, and spending time with her friends and family.

Jill Folkestad
Assistant Trainer
Jill has been a dedicated horsewoman her entire life, developing into a skilled rider and competitor. She showcased remarkable talent throughout her junior career, successfully competing at the 1.40 level. Her passion for horses has continued to guide her journey as she remains fully committed to her craft, constantly refining her skills and knowledge. Jill excels at coaching horses and riders at home, bringing a unique combination of expertise and enthusiasm to every lesson. Her training approach is built on a foundation of horsemanship. She emphasizes flatwork basics as a core part of our program, preparing both horse and rider for the highest levels of competition and the pressures of the show ring.
In addition to her riding, Jill is a triathlete. She firmly believes that physical fitness is key to becoming a successful rider. Her commitment to fitness inspires many of our students, motivating them to incorporate strength training and conditioning into their routines for better performance in the saddle.
Outside the barn, Jill enjoys spending time with her two children.

Peyton Coffland
Assistant Trainer
Originally from Eugene, Oregon, Peyton's unwavering passion for equestrian sports has been a guiding force in her life since she was a young girl. She has shown primarily in the jumper ring, consistently achieving notable results on the West Coast. Peyton's dedication and hard work culminated in her winning the Zone 9 Jumper Finals in 2023 and the Team NW Grand Prix in 2024. Other memorable highlights include a second-place finish in the Sacramento Northern Winter Classic Grand Prix.
Peyton's pursuit of excellence extends beyond the arena, as she has consistently excelled in her academic endeavors. She earned an associate's degree from Clark College and is currently a full-time student at Washington State University, where she is working towards a bachelor's degree in business administration. Her ability to balance her academic and equestrian pursuits is impressive, making her an excellent example for our students.
Outside her studies and the arena, Peyton enjoys cooking and cherishes quality time with her friends, family, and dog, Winston.
